Are you interested in going no-till but have questions about the techniques and equipment involved? Have you tried no-till and want to troubleshoot your challenges with other farmers? Or, are you getting the hang of no-till and want to help other farmers get started?
Join us for a lively farmer-to-farmer peer discussion on the no-till transition process. Topics will include the economics of going no-till, successes and problems encountered, terminating cover crops, controlling weeds, and more. The focus will be on no-till silage and sweet corn (and squash or other large seed cash crops).
We’ll also discuss financial support and assistance opportunities for no-till farmers, including:
- No-till planter rentals and retrofits
- NRCS conservation programs
- On-farm technical help
Participate in one of these three meetings and be entered in a raffle to win 2 tickets and travel expenses for the 28th Annual National No-Till Conference, scheduled on January 7-10th, 2020 in St. Louis, MO! We will cover meeting registration, hotel, and travel costs for up to $2,000. To be eligible, just RSVP, include your contact information, and fully attend one of the three meetings.
