Several of New Hampshire’s County Conservation Districts have equipment rental programs to allow farmers to borrow specialized equipment at a low cost for soil health and nutrient management practices. Cheshire County Conservation District: no-till seed drill, roller crimper, wood ash spreader, soil aerator, subsoiler, penetrometer.

Strafford & Rockingham County Conservation Districts, Great Bay Nutrient Management Initiative: no-till seed drill, soil aerator, yeomans plow, wood ash spreader, fence post pounder, roller crimper.

Grafton County Conservation District: Soil aerator, no-till seed drill.

Coos County Conservation District: Wood ash or lime spreader, high tunnel and garden tools.

Merrimack County Conservation District: Soil aerator, wood ash spreader.
